Hi! I’m Marco, I’m a bartender from Italy and I’m 30. I’m married an I have two very active dogs. I ride a Brixton Crossfire 500 X because it has always given me vintage vibes but it’s actually super modern at the same time.

What inspired you to ride?

I’ve always loved motorcycles. I obviously started when I was very young inspired maybe by older guys in my town who seemed so cool to me at that time. They were like my favourite characters in movies: brave and confident. The first time on a bike is unforgettable: I immediately loved the adrenaline that comes only from a ride, that freedom, that incredible connection with your motorcycle, with everything around you, with the road, but also that feeling of power mixed with fun.

How long have you been riding a motorcycle?

Almost 13 years, always the best way to move for me in short or long trips.

What is the perfect weather for you to ride?

Which accessories are indispensable for you on the motorcycle?

Safety first, so a very good helmet, protective gloves, a jacket with protectors, reinforced trousers and boots. I always try to add my style everywhere, so I made myself a jacket, that I wear upon the protective one, with my favourite patches from all over the world. I collect them during my travels, they’re so meaningful to me.

How often do you get to ride your motorcycle?

I would prefer to drive every day, but I’m on the road at least twice a week for a few hours at a time.

What was the most beautiful place you explored with your Brixton?

One of those ones I mentioned before. One day I was alone, was riding about one hour far from home, I unexpectedly saw a little lake among the trees I thought I knew perfectly but I was wrong. I discovered this little calm natural landscape; it took my soul. I came back every time I needed some peace.

Anything else you want to tell us?

Riding taught me a lot: focusing on the most important things, to live in the present moment and to enjoy little things in life we are so used to forget. It’s not just a hobby for me, it became something important, a big part of my life, it’s essential.
