<p style="text-align: center;">The name comes from the rock formation of the same name on the Isle of Skye in Scotland – the rugged design of the adventure bike is modelled on the wild landscape of the rugged north.</p>

The high front not only gives it a striking presence, but also protects the rider from the elements and offers optimal visibility of the large TFT info screen. The side front panels protect the mighty steel fuel tank and offer mounting options for the most important travel utensils.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Thanks to the slim ergonomics and the forward-sloping tank shoulders, you can stand comfortably on off-road stages and have sufficient clearance to move around. A large luggage rack is fitted at the rear and long bars for the pillion passenger can be adapted for various types of luggage.</p>

<p>1222 cc displacement, 1222 cc Brixton. The water-cooled in-line two-cylinder produces 83 hp at 6,550 rpm with a whopping 108 Nm of torque already available at 3,100 rpm. Mahle pistons are operating in the 8-valve engine and an FCC anti-hopping clutch in the 6-speed gearbox. And what comes out in the end is pure driving pleasure and rich sound thanks to 270° crank pin offset.</p>

<p>The two-pipe exhaust system is made entirely of stainless steel and runs straight down and straight to the rear – looks good, sounds even better. In the colours Cargo Green and Timberwolf Grey the surface is brushed, in Backstage Black it is lacquered black.</p>

<h2 style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: #f8b333;">SCHOCK ABSORBER</span></strong></h2>

<p style="text-align: center;">Engineers at Japanese suspension specialist KYB/Kayaba have tuned the Cromwell&#8217;s shock absorbers precisely to the sweet spot between comfort and sportiness. Protected by classic bellows, a telescopic fork with 120 mm travel and 41 mm stanchion diameter operates at the front for precise responsiveness. At the rear, the spring preload is adjustable and the stereo shocks have 87 mm of travel.</p>

Daytime running lights, headlights, tail lights and indicators: with LED equipment all around, the Cromwell is fully up to date without forgetting the unmistakable charm of classic forms.

A motorbike that makes no compromises also needs uncompromising grip. No Brixton gets inferior rubber, and neither does the Cromwell. Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres are fitted here, and wider tyres can be fitted as an option – 110/80-18 at the front, 160/60-17 at the rear.

The Bosch dual-channel ABS in version 9.1 has been perfectly matched to the Cromwell 1200. With its featherweight 640 grams, it is not noticeable when riding, but in tricky situations you are glad to have it. A disengageable traction control also ensures safety during hard acceleration.
