“My name is Venia, I am a 48 year old mother of a 17 year old teenager boy. I always loved motorcycles but I never had the chance to ride or even buy one. The truth is that I didn’t even know how to ride a …. Bike! But I was determined to check this off my bucket list. So I learnt after a few lessons with my boyfriend. I took the licence test and I received the perfect present for my birthday this September. My sweet & sexy girl – my Brixton. Since then I ride it every day & every night around the city.”

1. In a few words, why do you ride a motorcycle?
“Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul”.

2. What is it about Brixton Motorcycles that got your attention?
It is the vintage style combined with the rock attitude, that’s what I love about Brixton. I always liked the old school motorcycles, my favourite one was the German military motorcycle.

3. What Brixton are you riding? What’s your favourite thing about it?
I am riding a Cromwell 125. I love everything about her. Her black & brown colour. The vintage style, the easy handling and the low cost of fuel.

4. How long have you been riding for?
I have been riding it for a few months, from January 2023. But… “Everyday is like Sunday!”.

5. What’s the craziest ride you’ve been on? Where do you plan on going next?
It feels crazy that I’ve learnt to ride from scratch at this age, so I am planning to ride with my beauty everywhere. I want to take her to Syros, the island where I come from and where my country house is. Every summer we enjoy the seaside and its beauty which is unique. Syros Island is a Greek island located in Cyclades. Its neoclassic buildings are different from other Cycladic islands. It creates an atmosphere of relaxation that everyone can enjoy.

6. The furthest from home you’ve ever been on your Brixton?
I usually drive in downtown Athens due to work and home, but I’ve also been to the northern and southern suburbs.

7. The most beautiful place you’ve been on your Brixton?
Every place is beautiful with her. Even with traffic on the road she makes my day. I particularly like to hang out with her and relax while enjoying the view of Acropolis. It is the most popular historic building in Greece and is located in the centre of Athens. It’s a view that both tourists and locals can enjoy from anywhere in the city centre, as it is visible from the alleys of Athens and also from many cafes, bars and rooftops nearby.

8. Would you rather ride on ocean roads or mountain passes?
Here in Greece, we have both. It depends on the mood. One day I can ride on the mountain and the next day I can ride on the ocean roads.

9. The best place to run out of gas?
Downhill. For a slow and easy ride…
